Travel to Taiwan

 

We recently traveled in June 2018 to Taiwan and braved through the food markets where vendors served a cacophony of food products that may include potential food allergens like peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish. What was more challenging was the language barrier when beginning to talk to the purveyors of edible products along the streets and the managers or chefs in the restaurants. Luckily, with the help of trustworthy friends who have lived locally and are well versed with the dialect, we were able to navigate the “muddy waters” and managed to stay safe while enjoying good food and Bubba Tea drinks as we visited exotic sites! It always makes me feel confident to have my epinephrine with me at all times protected from the hot weather by my Epi-Temp pack!
